Vineyards in Gers, such a long story
Wine-growing takes up about 20 000 hectares of land in Gers.
It concentrates in the North West area of the department: cantons of
Nogaro, Cazaubon, Eauze, Montréal, Condom, Valence-sur-Baïse
and in the cantons of Riscle, Plaisance, Aignan, Vic-Fezensac, Fleurance
and Lectoure.

production and a sale of 10 million bottles per year, Armagnac generates
a 500 million franc turnover.
50% of the Armagnac production is exported to 132 countries.
