The GERS SEM (SPC), a partner of regional and local developments

The GERS SEM, a Semi-Public Company, is a construction, management and development technical tool at the service of:

•  all Local Communities in the Department: General Council, Commune Communities, Communes (a commune is the smallest French territorial division)

• operational structures of Local Communities: Semi-Public Associations, SIVOM, SICTOM...

• public or private partners, already settled or willing to settle in the Gers Department: Government Services, Manufacturers, Service Business…

The staff of the GERS SEM is made up of about twenty persons, with multiple skills - town planners, architects, engineers - and leans on a net of Semi-Public Companies from the SCET (Deposit and Consignment Office Group) which particularly develops legal, fiscal and financial skills.

All such skills help the SEM GERS intervene to carry out surveys and construction and development projects under the form of service, assistance and delegated contractorship.

Among the most significant interventions, the following ones are to be mentioned:

• School construction and renovation,
• Construction and renovation of buildings in the water cure sector,
• Construction of departmental laboratories,
• Construction of the departmental public record office,
• Construction of the public car park downtown Auch,
• L'Isle Jourdain business zone development,
• Management of the protection perimeter plan procedures for the drinking water collecting,
• Auch - Lamothe airport management.
