Higher education

Most secondary schools in Gers offer professional education.

Gers is also provided with a University campus located in Auch and in which can be found:

. the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (the University Institute of Technology) with its Departments, Applied Biology with an agronomy option and Management and Business Administration. Both departments depend, as far as their management is concerned, on IUT. "A" at the Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse.
